The people in charge of the Mumbai Fire Brigade say that something bad happened at a place called a chawl in the Malvani area around 5:30 am. The fire brigade people said they sent four fire trucks and rescue vans to the place where the fire was. The firefighters were able to stop the fire from getting bigger in one hour. Seven people who were hurt including two women and a kid were taken to Shatabdi Hospital and Cooper Hospital to get help. The doctors said that most of the people who were hurt got burned and breathed in some smoke. It does not seem like anyone is in really bad shape.
