Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid homage to the brave souls who lost their lives during the horrific Mumbai terror attacks on November 26, 2008. “In 2008, I was invited to an event at the 22nd floor of the Taj Mahal Palace. When I took the elevator up that evening, I could never have imagined that it wouldn’t be available to bring me down 10 hours later. Everything changed at precisely 9:42 pm,” Mehta recounted.
His story reflects the fear, confusion, and courage experienced by countless civilians trapped in the attacks.
