Something sad happened in Indias sports world. A famous pistol shooter named Sambhaji Shivajirao Patil died on Monday morning. He was 27 years old. Sambhaji Shivajirao Patil was driving his SUV on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway near Manor in Palghar district in Maharashtra when it hit a truck. This accident is a shock, to everyone who knows Sambhaji Shivajirao Patil.
So I was wondering what happened
Patil was going from Pune to Ahmedabad on Monday morning for a training session when something terrible happened. This accident occurred at 10 in the morning near Heritage Dairy at Durves. The vehicle that Patil was in a Toyota Fortuner SUV, lost control. Hit a big truck from, behind. This happened when the Toyota Fortuner SUV was trying to pass the truck at a high speed.
The accident was really bad. The front of the SUV was totally smashed. This was very bad for Patil. He got hurt badly that he died. They said he was dead there where the accident happened. The other person with him Yash Prasad Chaudhary, who’s twenty two years old and was driving the SUV got hurt very badly too. He had to go to the hospital in Manor. He is still, in the hospital getting help for his injuries.
The police have registered a case at Manor Police Station against the driver. The reason for this is that the driver was negligent. Now the police are looking into what happened to find out the exact cause of the accident, at Manor Police Station. They want to know what made the accident happen.

Sambhaji Patil was not any athlete. He was a good international shooter. Sambhaji Patil had represented India in competitions and he did it very proudly. The things that Sambhaji Patil did well in sports include:

A respected Sports Officer (Group-B) at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune
Patils sudden death is really sad for the shooting team and his friends. They are all very upset. The other shooters, coaches and people who work in sports are also very sad about what happened to Patil. He was a good young athlete and people thought he would do great things. Now that he is gone it is a loss, for everyone. Patil was just starting to do in his career and people were excited to see what he would do next.

The accident is really sad for the people involved.. It has also made people think about how safe the roads are on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Highway. This is one of the roads, in India and a lot of accidents happen here. They are always. Improving the road but cars are still crashing into each other at high speeds all the time on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Highway.
People who care about safety think that we need better signs on the road police should give out more tickets for speeding and drivers should stay in their own lane. This is really important to prevent accidents, like this from happening again in the future. Public safety is a concern and we need to do something about it.
