The police said that something bad happened on 18 January 2026 at Nalanda Society. This is a place where people live on Lokhandwala Back Road. People who live there heard guns being fired. Later they found two bullets stuck in the walls. One bullet was stuck on the floor and the other was on the fourth floor of Nalanda Society. The flats where the bullets hit belong to a writer-director and a model. The writer-director and the model own these flats, in Nalanda Society.
The Mumbai Police took KRK into custody on Friday night. They took him to the Oshiwara police station to ask him some questions. When they were talking to him the police say that KRK told them he fired his gun two times. The police also took his gun away because they needed it for their investigation. The police are charging KRK with a crime, under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act.

On the police did a closer examination of the evidence and they found a connection between the bullets that were used and the actors house that is nearby.
