The three-day fest, between October 7 to October 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre, is likely to see thousands of visitors, including overseas delegates, business heads, and tech aficionados. The influx of attendees has prompted authorities to implement traffic management measures to ensure smooth vehicular movement and safety in one of Mumbai’s busiest commercial districts.
Traffic Disruptions Anticipated
The BKC zone, which is already one of the busiest business districts in Mumbai, will witness heavy traffic jams throughout the event, as per the Mumbai Police. Several of the surrounding roads, such as G Block Road, Bandra-Kurla Link Road, and Senapati Bapat Marg, will be partially closed or diverted to cater to the large number of vehicles and provide smooth access to the venue.
Traffic authorities have alerted commuters to expect delays during rush hours, especially from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and in the evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Authorities have also warned that parking spots near the convention centre will be scarce, and attendees are encouraged to take public transport where available.

The municipal authorities have encouraged public transport usage to reduce congestion. Shuttle services from key centers, metro connectivity, and parking points located outside the BKC complex plan to minimize the number of private vehicles accessing the complex.
