The victim was reportedly kept under a so-called \u201cdigital arrest\u201d for several days and pressured into transferring his savings to accounts controlled by the fraudsters. Police have arrested an alleged mule-account operator who reportedly helped receive and route the money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case highlights how scammers continue to exploit fear of law-enforcement action, particularly by impersonating senior police or government officials. Authorities are investigating the wider network involved in the fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">150 AC Double-Decker Electric Buses to Return<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mumbai\u2019s iconic <strong>AC double-decker buses<\/strong> are set for a major comeback, with the remaining <strong>150 electric buses<\/strong> expected to be delivered after a contractual dispute delayed the rollout for more than two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BEST has approved an increase in the payment rate to manufacturer Switch Mobility by \u20b93.85 per kilometre.
