A leopard was seen inside the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay campus. This has made students, teachers and people living in Mumbais Powai area very concerned. The leopard was caught on camera moving around the campus and attacking a dog. So the authorities are keeping an eye on things and telling people to be careful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not the time something like this has happened. It shows that animals and people are coming into contact often in areas near forests. The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is close to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. This park is known to have leopards moving around in it sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leopard was seen at night on CCTV cameras. It was moving around parts of the campus. Wildlife experts looked at the footage. Confirmed that it was a leopard. They started tracking where it was going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The authorities think the leopard came into the campus looking for food. Stray animals can attract predators into cities that are near forests. This makes it more likely for people and animals to meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
