Something bad happened in the Fort area of South Mumbai. Two men said they were police officers and they took a lot of money and valuables from a woman from Kenya. They got than sixty six lakh rupees from her. This happened in a busy area of Mumbai where a lot of people work. Now people are worried, about their safety and how someone can pretend to be a police officer and do such a thing. The Mumbai Police said they have caught one of the men who did this and they are trying to find the man who was involved. The Mumbai Police are working hard to catch the man who pretended to be a police officer and robbed the Kenyan woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police said that the woman from Kenya was living in South Mumbai. Two men came to her. Said they were police officers. They looked like police officers and spoke like they were in charge. These men told the national that they were doing a regular check on people, from other countries and looking into suspicious money matters. The Kenyan national believed them because they looked and acted like police officers so she did what they asked her to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman had a lot of money and the people who did this to her said they needed to check it. They told her it was part of an investigation. So they took the money and her other valuables. They said do not worry we will give you the money back after we check it.. Then they just ran away with the money. The woman was very shocked and very upset when this happened to her. The men just left her like that. Did not come back. The money and valuables were. The woman was left with nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The woman figured out she had been lied to so she went to the police station in the Fort area. Filed a report. The police officers in charge looked into the matter. They thought it was a big deal because it was a fraud and impersonation case that involved a lot of money. They looked at the video from the cameras in the area. They made a few teams to try and find the people who did this. The police were trying to solve the fraud case and the impersonation case.
