Thousands of commuters were stuck at stations all over the city. The local train services, in Mumbai were having a time because of this issue.

The railway people found out what was wrong. It was a problem with the signals and the track circuit. This happened a little after 8:15 in the morning. Because of this the trains were moving slow and had to stop for a while between stations. This was a problem for people who were travelling between Dadar, Kurla and Mumbai CST on the Central line. It also affected people who were going to Churchgate on the line. The people, in charge said that trains had to slow down for safety.

Trains started to get stuck. This system is used by over seven million people every day. People who take the train to work were upset about the problems that keep happening especially when a lot of people are using the trains. They want the people, in charge of the trains to make some changes like getting signalling systems and finding problems before they happen so that the trains can run more smoothly. Mumbais train system needs these changes.

There was a lot of traffic on the roads near the railway stations.
